TEFL Certificate
50 hours
When you have completed the 50-hour TEFL certificate course, you may apply for admission to the 120-hour TESL certificate course, provided that you have a B.A. or B. Sc. (Bachelor of Arts or Science) degree from an accredited University.

Module 2: Communicating effectively - Teaching Grammar
Module 3: Pronunciation to conversation - Teaching Listening & Speaking
Module 4: Literature and life - Teaching Reading
Module 5: Communicating creatively - Teaching Writing
Module 6: Pulling it all together - Designing ESL curriculum
Module 7: Creating communicative tests - Testing in ESL
Module 8: Making the classroom work - Class dynamics
Module 9: Finding your first ESL job - TESL or TEFL
Module 10: Going solo - Tutoring in ESL/EFL
Practicum: Observation

If you do not have a B.A. or a B. Sc. Degree, it is also possible to take modules 3 through 10 as a means of obtaining extra credit. Upon completion of each of these modules, you may apply to receive a professional development certificate, which will reflect the skills obtained in the module completed.
